Schools & Organisations
These programmes are tailored to suit the school or organisations specific requirements for their children and youth who are facing challenges or difficulties. Teaching life skills that help to overcome barriers, and to improve physical, mental, and social wellbeing, creating positive behaviour changes. The small group sizes mean that participants can learn and thrive instead of getting lost in the conventional learning setting. These new life skills learnt alongside horses will complement the goals the group is working towards though their school or organisation.
4-12 week curriculum programmes, 1 hour 30 minutes per session.

School Kids & Youth
These programmes will focus on what kids and youth need to be successful in a school environment, like leadership, communication skills, teamwork, relationship building, resilience and personal development. These skills are vital for those with challenges or going through difficulties at school to keep them from falling through the cracks and getting behind in their school work. Instead, they will learn important life skills to help them navigate their way through their school journey.

Home-Schooled Kids & Youth
These programmes will focus on skills that kids and youth might miss out on by not attending school such as improving teamwork, communication skills, self-confidence, relationship building, social skills, assertiveness and personal development. Home schooling is becoming much more popular especially for those with challenges who do not do well in a busy school environment. This is a perfect skill building programme for these young people.

For Parents & Children
Parent and child programmes will focus on restoring the relationship between parent and child, including learning better communication skills, problem-solving, trust and respect, flexibility, self-awareness and effective boundaries. This programme improves and builds relationship skills between parent and child even during those challenging times.

For Siblings
Sibling programmes will focus on restoring the relationship between siblings, including learning problem-solving, communication skills, trust and respect, and effective boundaries. This programme encourages the siblings to learn ways to reconnect and rebuild their relationship through the teachings of the horse.

Be You @ the Barn -
Teen Empowerment Programme
Be You @ the Barn is an empowerment programme for teenage girls aged 11 through to 17 years. BY@TB compliments Equine Assisted Learning programmes and can be paired directly with particular sessions or can be completed between sessions or after a programme.
Be You @ the Barn has been designed with EDUCATORS & HEALTH PROFESSIONALS to build the RESILIENCE SKILLS our girls need to EMBRACE THEIR FUTURE with CONFIDENCE and ENTHUSIASM!
With all the physical and emotional changes, social challenges, school pressures and more that teenagers experience - no wonder so many feel OVERWHELMED, MISUNDERSTOOD and FRUSTRATED.
Help your daughter learn the skills and tools she needs to build self-confidence, self-esteem, inner leadership and watch her thrive.
And... HORSES are the TEACHERS! They do not judge - they provide instant and honest feedback - and model empathy, kindness and acceptance.
This programme involves 6 x 50-minute lessons, including worksheets, additional resources and extension exercises for those who want to learn more. In total there is over 12 hours of engaging content. Participants need to commit to the 6 lessons to complete the programme.
2-8 participants per programme.
Suitable for girls aged 11-17 years.
School Holiday Programmes
We continue providing Equine Assisted Learning programmes during the holidays. This is an opportunity for children and youth to socialise with others, bringing a different dynamic to sessions. It is also a great time to do a programme if attendance during the term is not possible and for families to come together for a programme.
For teenage girls, we provide an empowerment and self-confidence programme called Be You @ the Barn. This can be completed as a stand-alone programme or alongside a 6 session Equine Assisted Learning programme over a half day. This is a great option for a holiday programme with friends or a group of similar aged girls to have fun and make new friends, while building confidence and empowerment skills with horses.

Family Herd Series
Our Family Herd Series has been designed to specifically focus on rebuilding relationships, trust and respect. Create effective boundaries and communication skills, while learning problem-solving, teamwork and personal development skills. Families will develop a toolbox of resources to support them in maintaining a strong, connected, and loving family unit. This is a very popular 5 session programme for families.
1 hour 30 minutes per session. 2-8 participants per programme.

STOP: Anti-Bullying Programme
This programme has been specifically structured to develop self-confidence, assertiveness and communication skills while developing positive social skills and healthy boundaries. These programmes are ideal for both the victims and perpetrators, to combat bullying, and it includes a workbook too!

Women’s ‘Rediscover You!’ Programme
Our women’s workshops are designed specially to help women rediscover who they are. With the stresses of motherhood, work, and family life, it is too easy for women to neglect themselves especially while caring for children with challenges or difficulties. Connect with other women, have fun, and leave the stresses behind!
